Cell Phone Controlled Toggle Switch
New! When a brief (free) telephone call illuminates the screen of an old mobile phone - the light from the screen operates a simple Cmos 4017 based Toggle Switch. I used a single-pole relay in the prototype But you can use a multi-pole relay if it suits your application. The Support Material For This Switch Includes A Full Circuit Simulation.

A Dozen Small Cmos Alarm Circuits
Update!
This is a selection of a dozen small self-contained alarm circuits. They have a very low standby current - and are perfectly suited to battery operation. I haven't changed the designs in any way. I've simply added a free SIMetrix circuit simulation for each.
A Simple Shop-Door Alarm
Update!
Attach this circuit to the door of an unattended shop - or reception area - and the sound of the buzzer will tell you when you have a customer. I haven't changed the design in any way. I've simply added a free SIMetrix Circuit Simulation.
A Simple Fire-Door Alarm
